Marianne and I had fun exploring our new hotel neighborhood in Paris. About 11 minutes from our hotel is a fun neighborhood called La Butte aux Cailles. It features steep cobbled streets, art nouveau architecture and abundant street art.

Marianne and I enjoyed this Parisian neighborhood. It was charming!

We then found a cafe to do what we do best…people watch!

Strolling through the streets of Paris, we came upon this unique cemetery.

The Montparnasse Cemetery is the 2nd largest in Paris. It serves as an artistic and literary haven. It is a resting place for a massive roster of global cultural icons. The cemetery doubles as an open-air modern sculpture museum.

Every headstone holds a life, a love, and a story!

The real magic of Paris happens when you put away the itinerary and just let the cobblestone streets guide you. We started the day with no plans and ended up stumbling upon the most incredible hidden treasures.

On to our next adventure, Buenos Aires!

After arriving in Buenos Aires, we took a 2 hour nap , walked around the city, and capped off the day with a delicious steak!

Marianne and I couldn’t resist going to Buenos Aires’ Sunday street fair before heading back to New York.

With a few good finds in hand, it was time to get ready to fly back to New York.

We wrapped up September with one last trip back to Buenos Aires.

It was too cold and rainy for our usual walk, but the hotel van saved the day and dropped us off at one of our favorite restaurants.

Marianne and I have finally come to the conclusion that we should share one of Buenos Aires mouth-watering steak on our next visit. So much beef was served for one person. We were completely stuffed and delighted by our dining experience.

The rain had finally let up, so we decided to walk off our meal and take the 30 minute walk back to our hotel.

With September at it’s end, Marianne and I have confirmed that we continue to unlock the timeless charm of Paris and Buenos Aires, finding new magic in every breeze!
