Stepping into the long, golden days of summer and letting curiosity be our guide. Our first trip in July was to London. We only had enough time to stroll our favorite streets, as our layover in London was far too short.

Our journey continued on our second trip to the timeless city of Athens, Greece.

We couldn’t resist getting a mouthwatering authentic Greek Gyro, upon arrival.

We then just wandered the streets to take in all the history and beauty that Athens has to offer.

We found a cozy place to watch the endless parade of visitors stroll through the Plaka.

In our happy fashion, we ended our day in Athens by taking in the sunset up at the Acropolis! We love the magical golden-hour.

From sunshine to cooler weather, our next trip was to Buenos Aires. July is the middle of winter in Buenos Aires. It was a refreshing temperature of 50 degrees. Great temperature for exploring.

A little tidbit about flying our passengers from New York to Argentina. It certainly was a subdued crowd. Argentina lost the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final 1-0 to Spain two days before our flight. We had missed the celebration in Buenos Aires of the fans giving the team and Lionel Messi a hero’s welcome for their resilient tournament run.

Of course, we had to stop and have a Buenos Aires’ world-famous steak. It’s noted for their exceptional tenderness , rich grass-fed beef flavor, and simple preparation.

The next day we took a nice walk down to see the Puerto Madero canal in Buenos Aires. By day, this riverfront area is a booming business and shopping district and by night, a hip neighborhood with restaurants and fashionable clubs.

Heading back to our hotel, Marianne saw some tired friends in the park. Discovery waits where you least expect it.

This job gives us the world, one 24-hour stop at a time.
